Essay writing is an integral part of GED or general education development exams and there is no avoiding it. The time given is 45 minutes to write the essay where the knowledge level and and one’s capacity to express is examined. Also one’s capacity to think logically and how well one can organise one’s own thoughts in pen and paper is put to test. GED essay topics are generally assigned ones with not much choice given to the student. they are generally chosen from personal essay topics but may also include topics from discussion essay or informative essay and other types of essays that have been taught at high school level. GED is the evaluation process that a student needs to undergo before completing high school studies and setting off for the college. These tests are conducted to see whether the passing out students have achieved the standard set by the American or Canadian board of education for the high school level. This testing procedure consists of five major subjects on which the students are evaluated. These are science, mathematics, social science, reading and writing.

10. what is more important, money or happiness.
GED essay topics are generally easy to write on and one can easily score A grade in their paper. Knowing essay formats well and being aware of the technicalities that go into essay writing helps one to score well. Since this also a test of general knowledge of the student one also needs to brush up in this area. It is advisable for a student about to sit for the GED to go through many essay writing examples and good essay examples to get an idea of how to write good essays. As one practices more he definitely writes better and it is entirely up to the student as to how much he wants to score and how much he needs to practice for it.
